To ensure strength and longevity, Aleptex carpets are certified by independent institutes recognized under Moroccan standards (MA-ESITH) for strength, durability, and safety in both residential and commercial use. Additionally, select carpets are tested against both European and North American standards, providing further assurance that our carpets are not only stylish but also designed to endure.

Synthetic yarns sourced from suppliers with OEKO-TEX® certification are incorporated into our products, ensuring they meet high environmental and safety standards. Our commitment to quality and sustainability drives us to work with certified materials that ensure durability.
Through Stitch, the tufting division of Aleptex, we focus on natural fibers, offering luxurious carpets crafted from premium materials such as New Zealand wool, regenerated eco-nylon from the renowned Italian brand Aquafil, and other sustainable yarns like Tencel and Mohair. These materials offer a balance of elegance, sustainability, and long-lasting performance.

The name “Aleptex” reflects the rich history and heritage of its origins. Derived from the city of Aleppo, a region renowned for its centuries-old textile craftsmanship, it symbolizes the company’s deep connection to the art of carpet making. Aleppo has long been a center of intricate weaving and textile production, with a tradition that dates back thousands of years. The founders of Aleptex sought to honor this legacy by merging timeless techniques with innovative design, creating carpets that go beyond function. They envisioned pieces that tell stories, evoke emotions, and transform spaces, continuing the tradition of craftsmanship while pushing the boundaries of modern design.

1982
The vision takes shape
Creation of the first plastic carpet factory in El Jadida, with a 4,000 m2 industrial site that has expanded to 15,000 m2 over the years.
1992
aleptex is born
The Company Aleptex is founded in Casablanca being the first Jaquard machines in Morocco.
2002
expansion
Aleptex expands its operations into a newly built 24,000 m2 industrial park in Casablanca’s Lissasfa industrial zone.
2015
Stitch is born
Creation of the “Stitch” brand, focused on the luxury and made-to-measure market, using the latest robotic tufting machine technology.
2017
Growth Across MENA Region
Acquisition of a new yarn production plant for PP yarn in Egypt, with an annual capacity of 2,000 tonnes.
2019
Bold Step Towards Sustainability
In a major move towards cleaner energy, Aleptex has installed solar panels at its production unit to reduce its carbon footprint and improve energy efficiency. This marks a significant milestone in our green journey. By 2026, we are committed to sourcing over 90% of our energy needs from solar power, reinforcing our dedication to sustainability and innovation.

Supports Morocco’s Hospitality Boom
In preparation for the 2030 World Cup and the surge in tourism across Morocco, Aleptex has realigned its production focus toward the hospitality sector. We've invested in new machinery, advanced finishing lines, and specialized equipment to deliver products tailored for contract work. This commitment ensures we’re ready to meet the growing demands of hotels, resorts, and commercial spaces with quality and efficiency.
